Private instruction is available in our air-conditioned studios, Monday through Thursday until 9:00 PM, Friday afternoon until 7:00 PM, Saturday from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Price rates stated below are per half hour. All lessons fees are paid directly to the teacher. Lessons are paid for monthly, by the first lesson of each month.

Professional experience (groups you have played with):

Groups: Zapp, Northern Lights (the lead singer was Franky Valley’s younger brother), Donny Dean Band (former Mouseketeer), The Blues Revue, Heartbreak (Jeff’s own band), and currently with Chatterband. Played in high school marching band. Played for the Drifters, Jonny Maestro. Played in the Mummer’s parade for a few years, in some musicals. Also played at galleries, restaurants, weddings, and funerals. Appeared on TV and radio. Played in big bands and jazz combos. Played numerous gigs in Atlantic City and all over the country.

CD’s: Don’t Drop the Rock, all listed groups have recordings, many free lance recordings.

Jobs you have done:

Private teacher-17 years. Had done sales at Philadelphia Music Company in Springfield at the Bazaar.

Musical styles taught:

All styles including Rock, Jazz, Blues, Funk, and Contemporary.

Good classical background and 1920’s on.

"I start my students off by getting a great tone, we work and work at it! I make sure that they learn what they want to learn but also what they need to learn. I make sure they walk out laughing!"

What age will you accept a student?:

5 & up.

Levels taught:

Guitar & Trumpet-Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced. Bass-Beginning, Intermediate.

What would a student expect to learn and how?:

All the introductory basics plus technique, listening, music terms, entertaining, note reading, figuring out songs on their own. "I give them the tools and it’s up to them to go home and practice."

Guitar-Mel Bay Series, Dennis Sandoli, various methods. Trumpet-Yamaha, Rubank, Arban, Clark. Bass-Mel Bay series
