Swarthmore Music Store
has existed in one form or the other for over 30 years. Serving the local
community with sales, service and lessons. Unlike the big box stores we
concentrate on our service. The proprietor has owned the store for over 20
years. You will usually find him on the premises. We have a string
instrument repair shop on the premises, and often can set-up or repair an
instrument while you wait. Guitars, acoustic and electric, basses,
mandolins, banjos, violins, violas and cellos are serviced quickly,
properly, and reasonably. We also carry a nice selection of instruments,
amps, strings and accessories. Recently we have begun carrying more
woodwinds and brass. If you need special orders we will handle sheet music,
small goods, and other items. We take care of the details that the large
"box stores" do not wish to bother with. We also teach instrument and vocal
lessons in over 20 air-conditioned studios. Our instructors are
professionals who care about the progress that you or your children make in
learning music.
